Scarlet will perform on stage with Liev Schreiber in Arthur Miller’s drama about a worker obsessed with his 17-year-old niece.
Actress Scarlett Johansson will appear in the Broadway production of Arthur Miller's 1964 drama, “View from the Bridge”, show producers announced on Monday.
Following the increasingly popular trend of Hollywood stars acting in Broadway plays, a 24-year-old Johansson agreed to act along with Liev Schreiber in the 1950’s drama about the Italian immigrant obsessed with his 17-year-old niece.
Final dress rehearsal is scheduled for December 28 and the play is expected to run for 14 weeks.
Johansson is known for her film roles in “The Horse Whisperer,” “Lost in Translation” and “Match Point.”
Schreiber, accomplished film actor, has already appeared on Broadway several times where he won the Tony Award.
