The famous Beatle is mad because his house was included in the Google Map and believes this is invasion of his privacy.
The former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, was mad when he discovered that his London summer residence can be seen from all angles with Google Street View and requested his home to be removed from the map, Telegraph writes.
Paul`s security team believes that his way, Paul`s multimillion estate is available to everyone, even a potentially dangerous by-passer and that the singer`s privacy was invaded.
Anyone can erase their estate with one click
Google spokesperson has offered a solution. If someone believes this invades their privacy, they can remove their estate from the map with one click of the mouse.
- Since the launch of Street View, millions have used it and the vast majority are very happy to have their house included - the spokesperson explained.
The launch of Google Street View stirred controversy in Great Britain this March. People are afraid that Street View might be used for terrorism or that burglars might find it useful in their “research”. People complained about their faces not being blurred. At the same time, they think it is vulgar that images of naked children or people coming out of sex shops could be seen with Google Street View.
