Teri Hatcher suffering from swine flu

Teri’s disease comes at a bad time for the 'Desperate Housewives' because they were supposed to shoot a big Christmas episode.

Actress Teri Hatcher has informed the producers of 'Desperate Housewives' that she will be absent from the set because of the swine flu.

After they received the notice, production team has taken all the security measures to prevent the spreading of the virus. Her illness came at inconvenient time for the production since they were planinig to shoot a Christmas episode that included a small plane crash.

The actress joined the growing list of celebrities who suffer from the dangerous flu. So far, the list of stars includes the singer of Backstreet Boys, Brian Littrell, and the actor, Rupert Grint.

Prior to contracting a swine flu, the actress has recorded a juicy episode of the "Desperate Housewives" in which she and Dana Delaney do the hot "chick-fight" in a bathtub.
