While his wife Katie Holmes was in New York with her daughter Suri where she is performing in a Broadway play, Tom Cruise decided to check out some clubs in Santa Monica. Photographers caught him at the entrance of a club where he was hugging with an unknown brunette. 

Tom arrived at the Buffalo Club alone, but was later joined by the said brunette with whom he was hugging. The media could not but wonder that, besides with a night out, Tom decided to treat himself with some good company. But a source close to the Hollywood actor said the mysterious brunette is an old friend of Tom’s.
