Very, Very Hot New Video by Marilyn Manson

Perhaps it is over exaggerated, perhaps not. See and judge for yourselves.

When we thought he was out of tricks, Manson returned with a video which could serve as manual for sexual positions or at least an introduction to a gothic erotic film.

The disputable topics is his video for the single "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)", which Manson directed himself, and some sources says that the great James Cameron helped him. Video`s main spice is Manson`s muse Evan Rachel Wood with whom he openly and even more convincingly makes love in all possible positions during the introduction scenes. Later on, they move to a speeding convertible, from which they return to a darkened bedroom, where they continue with the thrilling scenes, this time covered with litres and litres of blood. Seeing how Manson is shooting the “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll” film in his free time, where Evan Rachel Wood also appears, perhaps these “interesting” scenes will find their way there as well.

But seriously, Manson released a song called "If I Was Your Vampire" a few weeks ago online, quite similar (even though a bit slower and more depressing) to his usual work, but the new single “Heart-Shaped Glasses (When The Heart Guides The Hand)” stands aside from tradition. This is primarily a pop ballad on fear of a broken heart, pumped up with distortions and emotions, and seeing how Evan Rachel appears throughout the video, wearing heart-shaped glasses while Manson sings her a ballad from the stage, all of this obtains a certain cloying and washed-out flavour.

Girls who participated in the making of the video described the director as a short angry man who tried to hush up 40 semi-naked girls by screaming sentences like: “For the love of God, will you shut up?!”, but Manson, in his own style, told him that nobody loves God. What a joker!

It is positive that the video will be more popular than the song itself, because of the mentioned scenes, and the rest of his new album, “Eat Me, Drink Me”, where he allegedly found salvation and the strength for a new life, will be in shops on June 5.
