The moment has finally come – Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie met. Jen was presenting an award, while nominee Jolie observed.

Jennifer Aniston has finally come face to face with her rival Angelina Jolie and the whole thing was witnessed by millions of viewers, The Sun writes. The encounter of two ladies who are linked with the same man, Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, has long-since been awaited, and they decided to face off during the most important event of the film world.

The busy star, who acted in recent films like “Marley And Me” or “He`s Just Not That Into You”,

presented the award for best animated feature film with Jack Black at the Oscar award ceremony on Sunday. “Adulteress” Angelina watched her from the front row together with Jennifer`s ex husband Brad Pitt. Several times, Angie even laughed at Black`s jokes, while Jen seemed rather stiff.

Jolie was nominated for the best actress award for her role in “Changeling”, but the golden statue ended up in six time nominee Kate Winslet. Her partner Pitt also missed the best actor award for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.

Jennifer was not nominated, but this is no obstacle for her happiness. The rumour is that her boyfriend, singer John Mayer, is planning to propose on Jen`s 40 th birthday.
