`Milk` tops NY movie critics` list, Britney`s new album tops charts in 7 countries and another stike could be on the cards for Hollywood.

Hollywood may be bracing for another strike. The Screen Actors Guild, which represents about 120,000 film and television actors, said it would mail ballots to members in January seeking authorization for a strike over a new contract. Last year's screenwriters' strike brought prime-time TV production to a halt and cost the Los Angeles economy an estimated 3 billion dollars.

The New York Film Critics Circle named "Milk," a movie about slain U.S. gay politician Harvey Milk, the best picture of 2008. The news follows Tuesday's announcement from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association who gave their top honor to the animated film "Wall-E."

Britney Spears is back on top. The pop star's new album debuted at number one in 7 countries. In the U.S. alone, "Circus," her sixth studio release, sold more than 505,000 copies - one of the biggest debuts of the year.

Finally, Michael Jackson is having one heck of a garage sale. The King of Pop will unload a treasure trove of his personal effects at an auction in spring. Among those items up for sale are the gates to Neverland Ranch and his famous glitter glove, which he premiered in the music video for "Billie Jean."
