Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital after feeling ill right before hitting the stage in Montreal. Reports say the singer had been complaining of exhaustion during her North American tour.
Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are throwing their weight behind Barack Obama. The two will headline a joint concert in New York in October to raise money for the Democratic presidential nominee. Ticket prices are going for as much as 10,000 dollars (USD) each.
Heath Ledger's insurance company has been sued in Los Angeles for not paying out 10 million in benefits to his daughter, claiming the actor may have committed suicide. The insurance company says its still investigating the claim on the policy and had not yet made a decision. The 28-year-old Australian star of was found dead in his New York apartment in January in what officials ruled was an accidental drug overdose.
Britney Spears may have to wait a little while longer for her day in court. The 26-year-old singer's attorney has asked a judge to delay her upcoming misdemeanor trial for driving without a license. He's filed a motion arguing that Spears should be able to just pay the fine and move on.
A victory for Sienna Miller. The actress reached an out-of-court settlement for 27,000 dollars from the British tabloid the Daily Star. At issue was a paparazzi photo the paper published. Earlier in the year, Miller won an invasion of privacy case against a photographer who took nude photos of her without her consent.
