Youngest Transsexual in the World

A boy, considered to be the youngest transsexual in the world, wants to speed up his operation. The young German, whose name used to be Tom, and now calls himself Kim, was allowed to take hormone therapy when he was only 12. 

The fourteen-year-old Kim voiced her wish for surgery when he turns 16, but the German law does not allow for this until he turns 18. The boy can now do nothing but search for a country in which he can have the operation. So far, all costs of Kim’s treatment was covered by the German health insurance.

As soon as he could speak, he told his parents “I am a girl”. Later on he said he would like to “cut his thing off”. From when he was two he wore his sister’s clothes and played with her dolls. He even had his own piggy bank in which he saved money for surgery as early as five years old. Kim now looks like a typical teenage girl.

His parents realised that this was not just a transitional phase and was a serious problem. They were in a great dilemma. If they go ahead with the surgery, then there is no coming back. But, it would be detrimental for Kim if they allowed him to life as a man, Davesdaily/Ananova reports.
