The resident of Mandicevac, received a number of blows in the head before her attackers finally fled.
Three robbers invaded the house of a 62-year-old Mandicevac resident at around 6 pm yesterday. The resident’s hands were bound and she received minor injuries, police administration of Osijek-Baranja county reports.
The robbers tied the woman's arms and legs, after which they proceeded to hit her repeatedly. After searching her entire house, they left the woman tied on the floor and fled in an unknown direction. After being discovered, the injured woman was transported to Osijek Clinical Hospital where she was kept on treatment.
The police is still looking for suspects and trying to determine if anything was stolen from the house.
