ACS going for the ultimate justice

Based on the constitutional law nearly half of million of retirees have been beguiled, and 300.000 of them completely forgotten by the law

President of the Action of Croatian Socialdemocrats (ACS) Zlatko Klarić disclosed on Wednesday that the Constitutional Court violates Consitutional law for not putting in the procedure a solicitation of the constitutional evaluation of the of the retirees debt reimbursement law endorsed by ASH, and accompanied by another 10 thousand of signatures.

Klarić stated in the press conference that nearly half of million of retirees have been beguiled based on that very law, because 300.000 of them, among whom the ones with the lowest pensions were never issued a right to reimbursement, 170.000 persons don't reserve the right to an inheritance while 50.000 of them enter the group of so-called forgotten, family pensions beneficiaries.

- We've introduced such a request to the Constitutional court on March 16th 2006 and we haven't received no response even though, according to the Constitutional law it's was clearly an obligation of the Court to give consideration to the said solicitation within a year - asserted an ACS president adding that this sort of a solicitation would surely has a priority in other states. - If we don't receive any response any time soon, we'll go for the European Court of Human Rights in Strassbourg - announced Klarić.
