Adria Air race: Passengers aircraft flying 50 meters above Jarun

On the 9th of June Zagreb will host this year's International Air Race 2012. This race of aircrafts will have two disciplines happening only few meters of Zagreb's Jarun lake. It will be a complete spectacle. for the first time the citizens of Zagreb will be able to see a passengers aircraft flying only few meters above the ground.

- The aircraft is Trade air passengers aircraft. After the aircraft transports Croatian football fans to Poznań, it will drop by to Jarun. When we say drop by, we mean it will fly only hundred meters above the audience and 50 meters above the lake. Otherwise, these sort of aircrafts fly over Jarun thousand of meters above when departing from Pleso airport - said Marko Emer, the director of Adria Air Race Zagreb 2012.

Other parts of interesting program will follow - From 12 PM there will be six motorized kites from Bjelovar flying in the sky. There will be parachutists and their spectacular jumps and ''People birds'' will be jumping off an aircraft.

- Numerous air events will be followed bya program on the ground.  Mamny old and new aircrafts will be exhibited for people to see. We'll also organize numerous prize winning games so visitors could win a promotional panorama flight, for example - says Emer.
