Antunovic: I Will Defeat Sanader In Dalmatia

Zeljka Antunovic said she would do everything to defeat Ivo Sanader in the 10th constituency at the parliamentary elections.

“Regardless of the position I will hold in SDP [Social Democratic Party] and on the list for the 10^th constituency, I will put all my efforts and authority into defeating Ivo Sanader there,” she said, replying to a question asked by news agency Hina.

She added that, at this point, she mentioned Sanader as the only ace up HDZ’s [Croatian Democratic Party] sleeve, as a man who managed to create an image of his determination, but achieved no serious results. “Under his leadership, the Government ensured the citizens neither a better life nor higher salaries and pensions. This is below the level that Croatia requires and that Croatia is capable of. For this reason, I am convinced that we can defeat Ivo Sanader and HDZ in the 10^th constituency,” said Zeljka Antunovic.
