Baby Who Was Smashed on Ground Starts Eating

The baby has began reacting to her surroundings, she is conscious and opening her eyes and is breathing on her own. She also started eating.

SPLIT, CROATIA – A two-month-old baby girl who was seriously injured by a psychiatric patient, Antonio H., has began to recuperate. 

According to media reports, apart from breathing on her own, the baby has started eating. Her mother is breastfeeding her and also, she is reacting to her surroundings, she is conscious and is opening her eyes. Up until three days ago, the baby was on a respirator to help her breathe. But she is making a wonderful recovery.

Last Saturday, after shoving the baby’s mother and uncle aside, Antonio H. tore the baby from her push-chair and smashed her on the ground, after which he began kicking her.

According to some witness accounts, he even wanted to jump on the baby’s head.

He told the doctors who evaluated him that a voice in his head told him to throw the baby. He also said God spoke to him.
