The Mayor Milan Bandic announced the possible price reduction for parking in the city.
“We will propose the reduction in price of parking in certain zones by autumn. We’ll see about the way of doing it and we’ll see at which locations”, the Mayor said.
The inspiration for this reduction was the report about the exact number of parking spaces in Zagreb. The report has been completed and it will be given to Zagrebparking in the next few days.
“They got 930 new parking spaces. We built the infrastructure, clear the ground for parking lots and give them to manage them. Now it would be fair to reduce prices for the citizens and not to increase them”, Bandic explained.
The new parking lots are at four locations – Paromlin, Sopot, Marticeva Street and Savska Street. At the same time, the agreement has been signed with Zagrebparking to reserve 160 places in Tuskanac garage for the citizens of Upper Town who will pay the reduced price of 110 HRK a month.
