Bandic is Cowardly Backing Down

Mayor Milan Bandic was the first to propose a bill on the construction of handball sports halls through direct settlements, said Sanader.

The government sanctioned a request Mayor Banic and other mayors who rubberstamped a proposal to grant the construction of handball sports halls through direct settlements, said Prime Minister Ivo Sanader at a news conference yesterday.

- Since Mayor Bandic is cowardly backing down, as are other mayors, the government will again review the bill again, said the prime minister.
