Bandic Receives Vincent Degert

Vincent Degert, the representative of the Delegation of the European Commission and Mayor Milan Bandic assessed cooperation as positive.

Mayor Milan Bandic met Vincent Degert, the representative of the European Commission in Croatia yesterday. Several subjects were discusses during the meeting, such as the functioning of a recently opened European Information Centre and ways of informing the citizens aboout the advantages of entering to the EU.

On occasion of the 50^th anniversary of ratification of the Rome Agreement, Vincent Degert and Mayor Bandic agreed to a mutual organisation of the celebration of this important treaty.

The Day of Europe, which is celebrated on May 9, the head of Delegation of European Commission and Zagreb’s mayor will escort a European bus, which will travel around Croatia.
