Being ''blind'' then, but now Kosor must leave

If she cares for her reputation and her party's reputation (or at least what has been left out of it), Jadranka Kosor must resign from the Government president position and from the president of HDZ position as well.

Until now she has stayed out from all the affairs, into which her recent colleagues were involved, and now, Kosor finds herself in the middle of 13 million HRK worth affair and that money was stolen from unknown state firms that financed her president campaign as well as her parliamentary campaign.

There are no excuses for such thing. The accusations from the former HDZ office accountant pointed out the incriminating light over the PM and put her in a very difficult position towards the voters as the public, and there are no words or acts that could excuse Kosor from the situation.

The words '' I didn’t know'' can't be enough by any chance and it shouldn’t be enough or sufficient for anybody. Not for her, or for her voters and not for the rest of the citizens. The things she allegedly didn't know are not a sufficient excuse any more. Maybe she didn't know that Ivo Sanader was dragging out money from the state firms with Mladen Barisic's help, maybe she didn't know about backstage games around selling Ina or maybe she didn't know about Podravka. But a blind man can realize getting the campaign bus with his figure and his name written all over or climbing a stage along with numerous pop stars. If she didn't know anything officially, the PM couldn't be so mathematically limited not to know the cost of all those things. But it is obvious that she didn't care for the ''details'' that are getting her now. And she couldn't care more.

- This is nonsense! Can anyone even think about me initiating the whole action against corruption to eventually end as a suspect?! – The PM made comments for Jutarnji list referring to the accusations of the former accountant who buried the receipts for the paid cash in her garden near the barn.

Yes indeed. Who could expect that the investigation will trace all the way to the puritan premiere? Everybody apparently, except her. She has been living in the wonderland with a white rabbit during the last two years. Actually, what did Kosor want to say by that statement? That Mladen Bajic and Tomislav Karamarko wouldn’t be free in the investigation about the finances of HDZ in case it comes close to her?

No matter how heavy was that punch for her and her ego, Jadranka Kosor must resign from the Government and the political party. And return those 13 million HRK to the companies where that money was dragged from. Eventually she would enlighten her reputation and her party's reputation by that act. This reputation has been destroyed by Ivo Sanader and his escort. And she would send a massage to everybody else. And let her be remembered for those acts and not for the theft she kind of gave her blessing for.
