QUESTIONING WITNESSES
OCTOBER 25 2008 14:00h
Head of all police departments in Croatia met on Friday night at police headquarters.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Although we previously reported that an employee of the Zagrebparking company was at the police to confirm the credibility of the video footage and the photo fit, investigators were actually asking him questions about a black BMW and wanted to know if the witness had given a parking ticket to on that fatal Thursday in downtown Zagreb, Palmoticeva Street where Nacional weekly co-owner Ivo Pukanic was assassinated in a bomb attack.
However, according to our information, the only BMW he gave a ticked to was in nearby Amruseva Street earlier that morning.
The investigator who is running the inquest let the witness go from police headquarters, where heads of all police departments in Croatia met for an emergency sitting.
