Bombs Threat at Two Zagreb Faculties

Text

The Faculty of Economics received a threat at 10:53 by a female voice. A few minutes later a male called the Faculty of Social Sciences.

ZAGREB, CROATIA - An unknown woman called the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb at 10:53am, and said that a bomb had been placed somewhere in the faculty, we find out from the Zagreb police headquarters.

A team of police were immediately sent to the scene, whose job it was to determine if the threat was real or false, or if someone tried to delay an exam, or if a consequence of the “Indeks” corruption affair was in question.

Of the witnesses that were at the scene, we find out that the students were not informed of the threat, or evacuated.

“The doorman did not let anybody into the faculty, but did not let anyone that was inside leave either, and the students were not informed of the anonymous bomb threat” said one student.

Eleven minutes later, exactly at 11:04, the same thing happened at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This time the anonymous caller was a man who the police are searching for.

After those calls, the police reacted very quickly, and both faculties were evacuated. We find out from the police that at 12:34 it was determined that the bomb at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences was false.
