Criminal investigation shows that bouncers did not just kick the young man, but also pistol-whipped him. They both have criminal records.
After a police investigation was conducted related to the events which had transpired in front of the "Jedinica" night club, bouncers Zoran S. (31) and Goran S. (28), who had assaulted a young man, will face misdemeanor charges for public disturbance and criminal charges for unauthorized gun possession. The suspects will also be charged for offering illegal protection, and so will the owner of the club.
It all started when the bouncers, who were not authorized to offer protection, attacked the injured party's brother while he and a friend were parking the car. The assaulted young man wanted to check if the club was crowded and if it was possible to enter, and this resulted in a conflict with the bouncers, who would not let him in. As we have learned, only members of the club and people they know are allowed at those hours. When the injured Kristijan Š. (25) found out that his brother had been attacked, he hit the younger bouncer in the face with his fist. Kristijan Š. had blood alcohol concentration of 1.74 per mille.
Goran S. reacted by taking out his HS 9 mm gun and hit Kristijan Š. on the head with it twice. The force of the blows made him drop the gun, which was then picked up by the younger brother, who then ran to his car and concealed the weapon. After that, he called the police. The other bouncer also joined the assault on Kristijan Š., who was knocked down on the floor. After a brutal attack that lasted for a few minutes, bouncers started to threaten him with the intention to make him ask his brother to come back.
When the police arrived to the scene, they only found Zoran S. there, while Goran S. tried to escape in his Volvo. However, the police stopped him. During the preliminary search, they discovered an Amedeo Rossi 357 magnum revolver with 6 bullets.
Off the record, we found out that Zoran S. and Goran S. were already known to the police for several offenses. Goran S. has about a dozen criminal reports filed against him for attempted extortion, violence, and inflicting heavy body injuries, while Zoran S. has a slightly 'thicker' record, including 20 or so criminal reports for violence and property-related crime.
The police are also familiar with Kristijan Š., who has a record of drug abuse and will be facing misdemeanor charges for public disturbance in the aftermath of this event.
