Brinje Tunnel on Dalmatina highway was pronounced best in Europe. Testing of 51 tunnels by EuroTAP showed this.
Research conducted by Croatian Auto Club and Croatian Highways on 150 tunnels showed that Croatian tunnels mostly fulfil security criteria and the careless drivers are most often to blame for accidents.
What is more, one of Croatian tunnels, Brinje on Dalmatina highway, was pronounced best road tunnel in Europe, testing with EuroTAP method showed.
