Britt’s Family To Repeat DNA Test in Australia

After they learnt the body that was found was that of Britt, the family announced to throw flowers over the place where she was found.

DUBROVNIK, CROATIA – The family of the Australian backpacker Britt Lapthorne decided to throw flowers over the place where divers found her body. They think this is the best way to say farewell from their daughter and sister, Australia’s News reported.

The news that the body that had been found in the sea in Dubrovnik was really their Britt shocked them because the police claimed that, according to the state of the body, it could not be Britt. So the results of a DNA analysts were came as a shock. But the family said they would repeat the DNA analysis because they cannot believe that the body is Britt’s.

After he found out his daughter was dead, father Dale Lapthorne could not talk to the press. But her mother spoke to the media, saying her husband and son would not return from Dubrovnik until they are released Britt’s body.

The police stopped their search for the Australian 21-year-old who went missing in Dubrovnik on September 18 and started a detailed criminal investigation to find out whether the girl had been killed or had been in an accident.
