Building Without Water - Problematic Neighbour

Building in Osijek has been without water since Tuesday, female tenant insulted handymen and police.

In the bathroom of Blazenka Lazic on the eleventh floor of an Osijek sky-scraper, a pipe burst and because of it water was shut down from the ground up to the final floor.

When the neighbours called the handymen to repair the damage, Blazenka, according to eyewitnesses, started insulting them.

Police were called, however, Blazenka did not wish to let them in either, saying without a warrant, nobody would cross her threshold.

-A lot of people are paying for just one person, and there were always some problems with neighbour Lazic- said Nevenka Levak, one of the tenants.

Tenants` representative Zlatko Datkovic said that he called the Housing Institute which will request a warrant, but they will get it only in a week.

-That is too late, we need water because otherwise we are forced to bathe at our neighbour`s- said Datkovic.

“She attacked my daughter with a bottle”

One of Blazenka Lazic`s first neighbours, Djordje Bosanac, claims he has been her neighbour for 17 years and that she has always been problematic, the Glas Slavonije reports.

-Three years ago she attacked my daughter and hit her with a bottle, and I broke her nose, so the whole case ended up in court- said Djordje Bosanac.
