Cacic: I Will Supersede Incompetent Government

Radimir Cacic, HNS Central Committee president, on the political situation in Croatia and chances of becoming PM after the elections.

Cacic pointed out his party wins more votes under the slogan “Voting for HNS, you vote for prime minister Cacic”.

“When people state which party they support, we get 13 percent of votes, and when they directly reply which prime minister, then the number is 34 percent”, Cacic explained.

He went on adding that the most important task now is to have the best score in the upcoming elections.

Political centre the strongest option in Croatia

Cacic stressed that the political centre is the strongest option in Croatia at the moment, but the Croatian People`s Party is not alone here.

“We believe it is important the Croatian Peasant`s Party (HSS) as well, or somebody else, participates here”, claims Cacic in an interview for the Glas Slavonije daily.

He said he will not be the list holder in Zagreb, but Vesna Pusic will be, however he will still hold lists in most electorates.

At the end of the interview he looked back on Ivica Racan`s disease and wished him a speedy recovery and concluded the final result of HNS and the Social-Democratic Party id to supersede the most incapable government Croatia has ever had.
