Change Law On Information Secrecy

Text

The unionists are dissatisfied with the government law proposal because it does not regulate all details which might cause dismissal.

Workers` Trade Union Association of Croatia demands of the Government that the information which is proclaimed business secret must be determined in advance and marked, and that it is regulated who must keep and handle the information.

-Workers today make contracts of work which also include confidentiality regulations with enormously high contracted penalties, from 100,000 to a million and a half kuna, and at the same time it is not even defined what the confidential information is- they point out in the association, stressing that workers can thus be sanctioned because of giving away any kind of information.

Namely until now, types of secret were marked on a visible place of the documents, and it was beforehand determined information, but all could not be determined what could be classified as secret.
