GLAS KONCILA JOURNALIST:

Tomislav Vukovic, Glas Koncila journalist, brought out a series of charges against the SOC in his feuilletons.
Namely, Vukovic claims that even 53 Orthodox church priests were members of the Chetnik movement in Croatia, and supports his thesis by researches of Branimir Jeftic.
-The Croatian authorities, scientists, the Catholic church and political representatives of Serbs in Croatia need to speak of this in a dialogue- states Vukovic in his feuilletons.
On the other hand, Zagreb paroh Milenko Popovic says the only Serbian Orthodox church priest who was a part of the chetnik movement was Momcilo Djujic.
-The Orthodox church position is that priests who kill someone can no longer serve ordinances- explains Popovic.
As the Vecernji list daily reports, historian dr. Josip Jurcevic believes that nobody in Croatia wants to face up to the fact that the main bearer of the great Serbian ideology was exactly the Orthodox church.
-I do not know how many Orthodox priests were in the chetnik movement, but it would be interesting to find out- said the Serbian People`s Council president Milorad Pupovac.
Milan Bandic congratulated Perkovic and Spanja for their achievements
