CIA Only Interested in What They Can Pin on Us

Why doesn`t the CIA have any information on Chetnik crimes, they are only interested in what they can pin on us, Hvidra official says

The credibility of CIA information on Mercep and his alleged crimes is questionable, Josip Dakic, an official of the Croatian Association of Army Invalids of the Homeland war, commented for Javno.

-We know exactly what happened, Chetnik hordes started their devastation spree across Croatia even before the (former Yugoslav People’s Army) attack - he concluded.

When it comes to the defence of Tomislav Mercep, he notes that Mercep will defend himself in the best way. On the other hand, he does not agree with the comment of the president od the Croatian Helsinki Committee (HHO) Zarko Puhovski that some might interpret this case as a fact that Croatia also took part in the killing of Serb civilians.

-This cannot be interpreted in such a way because events are known exactly, as well as when and how they took place- Dakic concluded.
