The contract for the concession on Zagreb airport was signed in Banski dvori yesterday. The contract was signed by the minister deputy Zdenko Antesic and the CEO of Zagreb Airport International Company Limited (ZAIC) Christophe Petit. The concession has been signed for the period of 30 years, and the construction of a new terminal will cost 236 million euro.
- There won't be a dime invested from the state budget and yet we'll have the airport which will evolve to a regional center. The plan is to realize 5 million passengers per year - Antesic said. He said they planned to start construction work on January 2013 and that they had 36 months deadline to end the construction. The concession will start after construction of the new terminal.
The PM Zoran Milanovic also witnesses the meeting.
