Confusion At Humanities Faculty, No Class Schedule

Text

Classes at alternative locations have not started, and dean Jurkovic says he is still making the schedule.

ZAGREB, CROATIA - Even though the heads of the University of Zagreb said on Tuesday that they have ensured alternative locations for classes from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, classes have not started today, and there is confusion at the faculty.

According to the (university) Senate decision from April 30, 2009, the heads of the Zagreb University, in cooperation with the corresponding faculties, secured around thirty classrooms and halls at eight different locations in order to carry out lessons for that faculty, says the university report.
Besides the students, this was confirmed by the dean of the faculty Miljenko Jurkovic.

He says that he is still making the schedule for the classes.

Remember, the University of Zagreb published that they have secured thirty or so classrooms and lecture halls at eight various locations to carry out classes.

Those rooms are in the rectorate building of the Zagreb University at 8 Zvonimirova Street, the Faculty of Engineering and Shipbuilding, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Science, the Faculty of Kinesiology, the teacher’s faculty and the veterinary Faculty, as well as the premises of the student centre at 25 Savska Street and the student dorm “Stjepan Radic”.

Besides that, they announced that they are preparing to find other locations to hold classes, it says in the report signed by the rector of the University of Zagreb, Aleksa Bjelis.
