Representatives of Adriatic Institute and The Heritage Foundation will present the 13th annual index of economic freedoms.
According to results for 2006, Croatia was ranked 55th for its level of economic freedom, out of 161 observed countries. The previous year, Croatia was ranked 74th out of 155 observed countries.
The index is used by investors, business, political and media leaders, includes the global assessment of countries on the grounds of ten key criteria. The index is published by The Wall Street Journal and The Heritage Foundation, the Croatian Radio and Television news site reports today.
