Croatia and Czech Republic Have No Open Issues

Minister Jandrokovic expressed hope that Czech Republic’s support to Croatia is stressed during the Czech presidency of the EU in 2009.

ZAGREB, CROATIA – The Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Goran Jandrokovic, met on Thursday the deputy Foreign Minister of Czech Republic, Tomas Pojar. On this occasion, Jandrokovic thanked his counterpart for the support that his country has given to Croatia in the Euro-Atlantic integration, it was written in an official report. 

The two agreed that the relations between the two countries are very good and friendly, without any open issues. They expressed content with the exchange of visits, which maintains at a high level, as with the expertise dialogue between the two countries.

Minister Jandrokovic expresses his hope that Czech Republic’s support will come out especially during the Czech presidency of the EU in the first half of 2009. He added that Croatia will do everything that is necessary in order to conclude negotiations with the EU in the given time limits.
