DODIK TO MESIC
JUNE 1 2008 13:59h
Mesic had better keep quiet, Croatia was created on the greatest ethnic cleansing, said PM Dodik.
Bosnian-Serb entity of Republika Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik dismissed claims by Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, who stated that the RS was created on ethnic cleansing, saying he had “better keep quiet” because Croatia was created on the greatest ethnic cleansing committed after World War II, SRNA Agency and Republika Srpska Radio Television (RTRS) report.
- Mesic is the Croatian president and should not worry about Belgrade`s foreign policy towards Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina or deal with Republika Srpska the way he does – the RTRS reports on its web site.
According to Dodik, “Mesic will have the right to teach others a lesson when Croatia gives back all rights to all Serbs who are disempowered in Croatia and when it processes all who were responsible for war crimes against Serbs. Until then, he had better [Mesic] keep quiet – Dodik said.
Dodik also pointed out that by saying the RS was created after ethnic cleansing, Mesic is “trying to pull wool over the eyes of home and world public which very well knows that Croatia was created on the greatest ethnic cleansing committed after World War II”.
