Good cooperation between Croatia and Albania and their coming entry into NATO should be a stimulus for other countries to join NATO quickly.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday received the Albanian Defence Minister, Gazmend Oketa, who is on a two-day official visit to Croatia, the president’s office said in a statement.
Minister Oketa voiced his satisfaction with the relations between the two countries and their cooperation, stressing that the possibilities of expansion and boosting this cooperation was on the top of priorities of the Republic of Albania.
Entry into NATO
He especially commented on both countries entry into NATO soon, stressing that the good cooperation between Albania and Croatia was a stimulus for other countries to join the Alliance as soon as possible.
President Mesic and Minister Oketa also discussed the situation in the region, the president’s office said in the statement.
