Croatia's President Ivo Josipovic will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on Tuesday and Wednesday, and on the first day of his stay in that central Asian country, the Croatian head of state will hold talks with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Josipovic's office stated in a press release on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Josipovic, accompanied by Maritime Affairs and Transport Minister Sinisa Hajdas Doncic and a Croatian business delegation, will travel to the city port of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan's Balkan Province. The Uljanik shipyard in Pula is expected to deliver two ships for this Caspian port in October.
Several bilateral agreements on promoting economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries will be signed during Josipovic's visit to Turkmenistan.
Also, a Turkmen-Croatian business forum will be held.
