- We are meeting to try to offer a solution for the border dispute - academician Davorin Rudolf told Javno news site.
Such a committee met at the end of September last year in Umag. The sitting was planned in November, but was postponed due to the assembly of the new Slovene government.
Several days ago, Oli Rehn, commissioner of the European Union for expansion, paid a visit to Slovenia. Furthermore, he met with Maarti Ahtisari, who is supposed to head the three-member team for the solution of the Slovene-Croatian dispute, according to Slovene media.
Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader invited his Slovene counterpart Borut Pahor to attend a match of the World Handball Championship with him, held in Croatia, for the second time, but Pahor refused, adding the meeting could be held if the invitation is submitted through diplomatic channels.
