Croatian PM, president and speaker are convinced Slovenia will ratify Croatia`s NATO accession treaty in April.
“Croatia will access NATO in April as expected”, this is the joint statement of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and Parliament Speaker Luka Bebic, after a sitting of the National Board for NATO.
- We are convinced Slovenia ratify Croatia`s NATO accession treaty in April – OM Sanader answered when asked by a reporter.
- As far as our relations go, I will work on a concrete match with the Slovenian premier, and we will run handball diplomacy. The issues which divide us can be solved, and friendship is undisputed – Sanader concluded.
Croatian Parliament speaker Luka Bebic pointed out that common Parliamentary majority was necessary to ratify the NATO accession treaty, and he does not expect any problems.
