The deadline for registration of participants in DAN D event has been extended. This event will take place in Stara klaonica in Zagreb from 15th to 17th June. The central exhibition will gather the most interesting authors and teams from the region. The only condition is that the participants should be younger than 35.
The jury will decide about the best 100 authors and teams. They will present their concepts and works from the field of design. The exhibition will show visual communications design, industrial design, fashion design and new media design. The project was launched in 2010. The aim of the project is to support and promote the work of young authors and give them a chance to show their work in public. There is also the idea of cooperation between individual authors, institutions and designers’ initiatives from the region as well as developing connections with partners from the field of economy.
The program of DAN D will last for three days. Some new content areas have been introduced to encourage the interaction between exhibitors and potential customers – entrepreneurs and craftsmen. The purpose of the first day called Radnidan D is to connect and stimulate the cooperation between young designers and entrepreneurs. The program will include different forms: educational lectures about design management, examples of successful cooperation between designers and entrepreneurs, presentation of successful products, speed dating, guided tours, informal meetings and presentations. An informal one-day co-working session will stimulate the productive cooperation and exchange of ideas on the spot.
The details about the registration and the participation can be found at: http://www.dan-d.info/hr/dan-d-informacije-o-sudjelovanju.html
