DC: Djapic, Shame on You!

The Democratic Party (DC) in Osijek condemned Djapic’s conduct at the ceremony of unveiling of the bust.

“Not only is Djapic’s behaviour borderline non-common sense, but is senseless,” said Miroslav Simic, head of the Osijek chapter of the Democratic Centre (DC) party, commenting Djapic’s leaving from the unveiling of Nobel Prize winners busts yesterday. 

“The reason for him leaving was not that parliament president Vladimir Seks was 25 minutes late, but because his ego was hurt because he realised he was not the central figure in the event”, Simic said.

He added that the Osijek mayor, if he wished to protest against the delay, should have left the ceremony, without unveiling the bust and not to have the bust be unveiled again because of his conduct.

“Now he became the central person, but also the scandal and example of human stupidity,” Simic said.
