Crime investigation in front of Fero-Term

Zagreb police have confirmed that the horse carcass was loaded off around 13:00 hours today. An on-scene investigation is currently taking place.

According to police spokeswoman’s advisor Aleksandra Ljuba, the owner of the company, Sime Gudeljevic, loaned a Fero-Term truck to a friend to transport his dead mare to the incinerary in Sesvete, near Zagreb.

Seeing as the incinerary was closed, they returned to the company yard and loaded off the dead mare in the outer storage, the deputy spokeswoman said. The friend who unloaded the dead horse has a horse breeding farm.

The health inspection also came to the scene.

But, as the director of Agroproteinka, Ivica Grlic, told us, the incineration facility works around the clock, 24 hours, especially now that the swine plague has occurred in Croatia.
