The search of the police officer’s apartment found pvc packets with speed and marijuana, which shows he was `earning on the side´.
DUBROVNIK, CROATIA - The criminal processing is complete for the 31 year old police officer from Dubrovnik who used his official car as a means to deliver drugs.
As we find out from the Dubrovnik-Neretva police headquarters, it was determined that on New Year’s Eve, the 31 year old contacted the 26 year old A.B. via mobile phone, and arranged for the sale of six packets of marijuana to 25 year old I.J. from Dubrovnik, who is also encompassed in this processing.
The agreed amount was 500 kuna, which I.J. handed to the 31 year old in Kantafig, Dubrovnik whilst he was on duty.
However, their “real” job did not tire the police officer too much, because a similar scenario occurred on January 3, 2009 when he “carried out the delivery” of the marijuana to A.B.’s apartment in Gruz, and the same was repeated the next day, in his official car again, dressed in a police uniform, whilst being paid by taxpayers.
Based on the gathered evidence, the police requested and received a warrant to search the police officer’s apartment, where they had something to see. They found more than three grams of “speed” and three pvc packets with marijuana, weighing 25 grams, which proved that the police officer was “earning on the side”.
After the criminal processing was completed, the police officer was taken before the investigating judge of the County Court in Dubrovnik, with a offence report, and was taken off duty.
