Do You Know You Can Watch Javno on TV?

Text

You do not have to watch our video news and entertaining footage on a small desktop. You can watch them in your armchair in front of the TV!

Download our high-resolution video footage to your PC and your television is perfectly equipped for PC on TV, with the DVD quality of video entertainment. Watching TV with a direct hi-speed link provides a VHS video quality. Download will give you the best picture quality and allow you to use your remote to control the video.

Connecting the PC with the TV:

You need a VGA Port, RCA Port, S-Video Port to watch our footage on your TV. You must have a video card and a sound card on your PC. Depending on the equipment, there are several ways in which you can connect your PC with the television set. Begin by finding out the connection on your PC. Look at the back of the PC and you will see several different ports. The newer your computer is, the greater the possibility there is for it having either iRCA Composite or SVIDEO Port. Some portable PCs also have video output. When you buy a new computer, check the description for “TV out” or “video out”.

If you have an older video card in your PC, perhaps you do not have a video output than can directly connect with the TV. In that case, you need the VGA port on your computer, which is a connector attacked to your PC interface.

If you have HDTV, you will get the best possible picture. If you only have a VGA Port without HDTV, you need a video card with a S-Video link.

NOTE: If your TV has several modes, you might need to select the mode in which the cable is connected. Your television set instructions should instruct you how to set that up.

S- Video Output and audio output

If you have a newer computer, you probably have a S-Video port. They are standard issue with newer DVD equipment. S-Video (Super Video or Y/C Video) will give you a clearer picture than the RCA Composite port. If you have a newer television set, it should have this port. You might have to buy a S-Video cable.

Connecting:

  • Video: Connect one end of the S-Video cable with the video output on your computer and the other end to the S-Video input on the TV (the colour of the S-Video output is yellow).
  • Audio: Connect the grey end of the audio cable connector into the line-out or speaker-out port on your computer. Connect the two RCS connectors on the other end of the cable to the audio port on your TV. (The colours are red and white for the left and right speakers).

Do not forget to restart your computer to get a signal.

RCA Composite Video:

Some computers connect via the RCA Video. Most TVs have this port built-in. You might have to buy a RCA Video cable.

Connecting:

  • Video: Connect the back of the computer with the back of the TV with the yellow RCA Video cable. You will need a cable of sufficient length.
  • Audio: Connect the grey end of the audio cable connector into the line-out or speaker-out port on your computer. Connect the two RCA connectors at the other end of the audio cable to the audio input on your TV. (Red and White for the right and left speakers).

Do not forget to restart your computer to get a signal.

The display procedures vary with different types of equipment, so check your video card instructions or product details.

Using the wireless transmitter and receiver:

Your electronic equipment store stocks wireless video/audio transmitters and receivers. You can connect the transmitter to your computer and the receiver to your TV. Still, the connection is only one-way, so you will be able to use only one TV at the same time.

For more than one TV you need additional receivers. These devices work best in a closed space, in a room or with only one wall in between. The signal might not be strong enough to pass through several walls.

Using the Cable TV Box:

If your Cable system is connected to more than one television set, you can watch videos on more than one TV, using your Cable Box. Many electronic equipment stores have a “RF Modulator”, which you need to connect your videos with the entire house.

You will have to convert your PC signal into that supported by your cabling system. Turn the signal to Channel 3 (or, in some areas, Channel 4), the channel not used by local emitters.
