Domagoj Margetic Collapsed

Margetic has been on hunger strike for four days, according to his blog, he collapsed at 8:30 this morning.

Margetic is on strike because of charges of contempt towards The Hague Tribunal, he refused medicine and due to organism collapse, dizziness and vertigo he hardly communicates with his surroundings.

-Domagoj Margetic has been in bed since Monday morning, almost immovable due to weakness of organism to withhold the new hunger strike, after the 33-day long one in August and September 2006. International associations and organisations were notified of his condition, as well as the international Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia in Hague. We did not succeed in getting journalist Margetic`s statement because as of this morning he is not able to talk and communicate- is written in his blog.

If The Hague Tribunal sentences him for the publication of 102 enlisted protected witnesses next week, Margetic announced he is ready for hunger strike until death.

Incidentally, this is the second hunger strike for Domagoj Margetic because he was on strike for 33 days last year in the prison hospital in Svetosimunska street, Zagreb.
