The State Centre 112 informed about an earthquake in western Croatia, and the epicentre was in Drežnik near Senj at 9.30 a.m.
The State Centre 112 informed about an earthquake, which hit the region of western Croatia. The epicentre was 20 km NE from Senj, in Drežnik, at an intensity of 4.9 degrees on the Richter Scale. In the epicentre, the intensity was 6-7 degrees according to the Mercali-Cancani-Sieberg scale.
It was confirmed that there were numerous citizens’ questions, because the phones were ringing constantly after the earthquake. It was felt in parts of north and west Croatia, in Krapina, Zagreb, Sisak, Istria and the Primorje region.
At the moment, there is no data on damage, but there was a warning that some minor damage might have happened. Due to the wide region that felt the earthquake, citizens were asked to report damage to appropriate authorities.
