A reconstruction should confirm if Sliško's and Dodić's steps can be traced from basement apartment on the opposite side of the street

County court conducted an investigation over Vjeko Sliško and Juraj Dodić murder attempt reconstruction dating back from 1995 in the Zagreb's Maksimir street 108a. Nikica Jelavić has been accused of the crime, currently facing a third trial before the court of law.

A murder attempt recounstruction was interrupted for a few moments by the Croatian football player Eduardo da Silva. He walked in front of the building in Maksimirska street occupying attention of the gathered jornalists for a brief period of time.

Sliško and Dodić at the end of the january 1995 were heavily wounded in a shootout that took place immediately after thre two of them left the office and went for a car. The reconstruction should ascertain if Sliško's movement could be monitored from the basement apartment at the opposite part of the street.

A key to the city apartement hasn't been found in a possession of the former apartment tender, which was the reason why someone called the locksmith to break off the door knob. This is the reason why the reconstruction procedure had been delayed in the first place.

For the third time already Jelavić is facing the trial before the court of law over the murder of the occassional passanger Zoran Domini in 1999, murder attempt of Vjeko Sliško and Ivica Bertić as well as the murder atempt of Sliško and Juraj Dodić back in 1995. The supreme court abrogated last year's exculpatory verdict requesting a new trial before the newly formed Court council. Jelavić pleaded as not guilty.
