Embezzled the HRT funds, and flew to Bosnia

Using fake pay-offs certain Artur Kosanović cashed 1.5 million kunas, and peacefully flew over the state border

Croatian Television spokesman János Römer in his communication confirmed the alleged rumble that the Crime police is momentarily combing the TV headquarters at Prisavlje over the 1,5 million kunas embezzlement.

Römer asserts that 14 days ago A commission for the economic crime of the Crime police received a documentation file from Croatian TV over the suspected theft and that the functioning of the authorized state services regarding the issue is already ongoing. -

HRT spokesman didn't want to reveal the names of the alleged suspects over still ongoing investigation. On the other hand, the media representatives has discovered off the record that the prime-time embezzlement perpretrator of such a sum is Artur Kosanović, who only in the last three months, using fake pay-offs in the informative programme managed to defalcate 300 thousand kunas. Immediately after Kosanović allegedly got informed on the possible consequences he flew away from Prisavlje in the direction of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The entire Prisavlje is humming about Kosanović having disappeared one day from his office, which's so far completely empty for over a month now, under the excuse of a pretended illness. On his working desk prior to the offshoot, he just left his briefcase and his jacket. Given his double citizenship, he escaped the same way Branimir Glavaš, Ognjen Šimić, and only recently Dražen Golemović did before him.

Also, The European Federation of Journalists recently addressed a letter in which it provides a support to HND in its protest against the HRT General manager behaviour.
