Many friends, family, colleagues, state and city officials as well as other famous people attended the commemorative gathering for Vice Vukov. The commemoration was held in the “renaissance hall” of the “people’s home” palace in Zagreb. His funeral was held afterwards at Zagreb’s Mirogoj cemetery.
The commemoration started with a song and a short film about Vice Vukov. Many famous people spoke about Vice at the commemoration, including the president of the Croatian parliament Luka Bebic, Sinisa Skaric from Croatia Records, Croatian Composers Society president Hrvoje Hegedusic, Social Democratic Party president Zoran Milanovic, Zvonko Spisic, Arsen Dedic and Ivo Bresan.
A book of condolence for Vice Vukov was opened at the commemoration.
