In the premises of Zagrebacka pivovara brewery there was education training organized last week for all beer advisors. The goal of the training was to raise a level of consciousness about a beer, to improve the beer service and raise a level of beer culture among caterers and consumers.
Zabrebacka pivovara brewery together with the institution for adult education Adriatic Educatio organized the educational training. The project was supported by the Tourist board of the City of Zagreb and the City of Zagreb. Around 20 caterers attended the education like the owners of following restaurant s - History, Cappuciner, Gloria, Cubismo, Jumbolino and Maslina. Same workshops were organized in Opatija and Sibenik as well.
''I am extremely glad that we've entered this project together with Zagrebacka pivovara. Our partners recognized the importance of education among adults working in catering. The beer advisors passed our program. They will increase the level of their service and that is very important for Croatia as one tourist country'', as Ante Peros said, the director of Adriatic Educatio.
This training was organized to improve the knowledge about primary raw materials and beer production. So the attendees had 5 days, 20 working hours and another 10 hours of e-learning part to improve their knowledge about beer origins, types of beer, ways of serving one and right selection of beer, depending on the occasion.
