The main board of HDSSB (Croatian Democratic Assembly of Slavonia and Baranja) will go to the elections alone.
Glavas, and an election headquarters has been set up.
Branimir Glavas is an ex Croatian General and parliamentarian, who is currently in Jail for the suspected participation in war crimes.
Glavas is not a member of the party, but the founder and president of the Croatian Democratic Parliament of Slavonia and Baranja, from which the party was formed.
The president of HDSSB and the Osijek-Baranja county mayor, Kresimir Bubalo said after the meeting, at a press conference, that the main aim of the party is to work for improved living standards for all of the citizens of the region. He added that he expects good results from the elections. “We are open to a coalition with any parties after the election, whose aim is a better life for all citizens”, he said.
He stressed that the pre-election campaign will be affirmative, without attacks at political rivals, because the party – instead of arguing – wants to present their plan.
Mato Radeljic has been named the spokesperson of the party.
