Everyone knows that Dikan and Alka are "watching each other's back". He just proved it now by signing her presidential candidacy
After her own steps taken over the presidential candidacy announcement by the end of this weekend, Alka Vuica "hit the floor" the very next day in order to collect the necessary signatures. Like most presidential candidates, she set her own stand in the very center of town, and one of the first to sign her candidacy was her longtime friend Josip Radeljak Dikan.
Gjenero: There is no difference between M. Tuđman and A. Vuica
It was clearly visible that two of them are watching each other's back after Dikan's marriage with Vlatka Pokos fell apart. In fact, Alka often defended him in the media, saying that Radeljak is the Croatian James Bond, and very popular among women.Besides, Vlatka and Dikan met even while he was having a relationship with her late friend Ena Begović, and after her death, Alka introduced Radeljak to Vlatka Pokos.
- I met him as a husband of my late friend's, Ena Begović, so I introduced him to Vlatka Pokos, and our relationship especially intensified when he and Vlatka were parting - said Alka in a previous interview. In addition to friendship with Dikan, Vuica disclosed she's quite bonded with little Lana, so she steps in everytime the girl needs a babysitter. The same thing Dikan is doing now in her fight for Pantovčak.
This would only mean that contrary to the political commentators' opinion, Radeljak sees Vuica, as the "President of the new era of politics," which is also Alka's official motto. Although Alka diligently collects signatures, not everyone welcomed her candidacy. In fact, Davor Gjenero, a political commentator, thinks of her as extremely ridiculous, saying that such a 'frivolous candidacies' are tolerated by the electoral system which is still not well resolved, i.e., the threshold is set too low.
